The Bavella Pass and Needles

The Bavella massif is rightly considered one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Corsica. Overlooked by the famous Bavella Needles in the heart of the Regional Natural Park, the Bavella Pass is one of the island's most celebrated panoramas, a must-see during your stay.

The Bavella massif is, of course, well-known to all hikers. Firstly, because the famous GR 20 long-distance hiking trail crosses the pass, but also because the Bavella area offers numerous other hikes suitable for all levels of experience. Bavella is also a canyoning paradise.

Upon arriving at the Bavella Pass, you are greeted by a statue of Bavella's patron saint: Our Lady of the Snows.

You will certainly come across Corsican pigs and free-roaming cows, and you may be able to observe birds of prey and perhaps a Corsican mouflon!
